The project aims at maximising the impact of the work of the South East European Media Observatory, building on its research on the factors that affect independent media in that region in order to foster support by intergovernmental, governmental and civil society stakeholders for media and journalism reforms in the EU-enlargement countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey).
Project partners are: Albanian Media Institute (Albania); Media and Civil Society Development Foundation „Mediacentar” (B&H); Press Council of Kosovo (Kosovo*), Macedonian Institute for Media (Macedonia), Montenegro Media Institute (Montenegro), Novi Sad School of Journalism (Serbia), Peace Institute (Slovenia) and P24 – Platform for Independent Journalism (Turkey).
