Debanking Misinformation

Novi Sad School of Journalism has started implementing the project "Debanking Misinformation" in cooperation with “Tranzitions” organization from the Czech Republic.
The main objective of the project is to built local capacity in Serbia to combat media propaganda and misinformation in the public sphere. Building local capacity will be realized through education for educators in media field.


Danube Women City Guide

the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, March 2017 – July 2018

The aim of the project is to strengthen the visibility of women’s history in Danube cities in five countries: Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia and Romania, bringing attention to their historical past and disseminate this knowledge widely. Aim is also to encourage the exchange of information and knowledge about women’s history in cities in the Danube region and to promote gender equality and a better understanding of cultural similarities and diversity in the Danube region.

Media and teaching – media literacy

The main objective of the project "Media and teaching - media literacy" is to strengthen the capacity of teachers from primary and secondary schools through the introduction and encouragement of implantation of innovative multimedia teaching methods.

Within the project "Cyber world, keep the child safe" an educational video series will be created, thanks to which the parents will become more familiar with the the dangers that lurk in the online world, but also with the possible forms of prevention. Each of the ten episodes will have a special thematic focus, and the series will be posted on NSSJ You tube channel.


Radio Novi Sad, 1 October 2016 – 1 May 2017.

Project “Kovčežić” (Treasure chest) is dedicated to the enrichment of offer of short audio stories in minority languages, as well as to the encouraging multiculturalism in Vojvodina. During the eight months of the project, Novi Sad School of Journalism will create 128 audio stories in Hungarian, Romanian, Ruthenian and Slovak language.

EU award for investigative journalism

European Commission, 11. 10. 2014 – 10. 10. 2017

The EU award regional scheme for investigative journalism in Western Balkans and Turkey is established by the European Commission, DG Enlargement, following the EU Enlargement strategy which recognizes strong need for ensuring freedom of expression in the media, and for support to investigative journalism to monitor the reform processes and to keep the historical momentum toward the EU accession.
